About our guest: Jamus Lim is Associate Professor of Economics at ESSEC Business School and a Member of Singapore's Parliament for Sengkang (Anchorvale). A former World Bank economist and J.P. Morgan strategist with a PhD from UC Santa Cruz and degrees from LSE and Harvard, he joins us in his personal capacity — as a father — to talk about responsible tech for children.

🎯 What Each Camp Is About

The official programme details, as advertised for each session.

🌞 Ages 6 – 10 · 10 am – 2 pm

Responsible AI for Curious Young Minds

A hands-on camp where children aged 6–10 turn an everyday idea into a real AI product they can build, test and explain — designed for Singapore MOE students and international/expat families alike. Kids learn to communicate ideas clearly, collaborate with peers, and build a working prototype using Google AI Studio and Lovable, supported by AI mentors with coding, product and engineering backgrounds. No prior coding experience needed.

✅ Learning Outcomes

  • Communicate ideas clearly through prompts, short write-ups and presentations
  • Collaborate with peers by testing, improving and giving feedback on AI builds
  • Build a real prototype (e.g. AI Study Coach, AI Time Planner, AI Hobby Buddy) and present it to an industry jury
  • Learn the basics of AI “vibe coding” — interface logic and prompt-to-product design
  • Begin developing responsible-use habits around AI, appropriate to age 6–10

👋 Who Should Attend

  • Children aged 6–10 in Singapore, including MOE school students and international/expat families
  • Families new to Singapore looking for an AI literacy programme bridging local (MOE, IMDA) and global responsible AI standards
  • Parents who want to attend alongside their child — mixed adult-and-child groups are welcome
  • No coding experience required

🎁 What You'll Take Home

  • A working AI agent prototype they built and can show to family and friends
  • A digital certificate of participation
  • A welcome gift, courtesy of Jeffrey Tiong, CEO of PatSnap
  • Custom mentor gifts, specially designed for EDUTech Future's Kids AI Camps in Singapore by Nova Stella Healthcare

⭐ Special Guest

Associate Professor Jamus LimESSEC Business School

Special guest sharing: “Responsible Tech for Children” — a welcome note and fireside chat by a father, for Singapore parents and kids (10:00–10:30 am, onsite).

🌙 Ages 11 – 15 · 3 pm – 8 pm

Build Your First Responsible AI Agent

Singapore's first weekend mini-camp where 11–15-year-olds design, build and red-team their own working AI agent — not just prompt a chatbot. In 5 hours, tweens build a real AI agent that can research, summarise and act on a task, while learning to detect deepfakes and apply the Agency, Inclusivity, Fairness and Safety principles behind Singapore's MOE AI-in-Education Framework and National AI Strategy 2.0.

✅ Learning Outcomes

  • Distinguish real vs. AI-generated media, aligned to MOE's 2026 Cyber Wellness update, Code.org and Common Sense Media research
  • Explain how AI agents work — tools, memory, and the human-in-the-loop principle
  • Build a working AI agent using Google AI Studio's multimodal tools, Lovable and Claude
  • Pitch a product idea to a live industry jury and stress-test a peer's agent for weak safety guardrails
  • Apply responsible AI principles (agency, inclusivity, fairness, safety) to a real build, not just theory

👋 Who Should Attend

  • Teens aged 11–15 in Singapore curious about how AI agents actually work, beyond chatbots
  • Students building a portfolio project relevant to AI literacy, computational thinking, or DSA applications (MOE schools)
  • Families who have completed EDUTech Future's Kids AI Industry Immersion Camp, Responsible AI Kids Camp, or AI4Good Family Hackathons and want the next step
  • No prior coding experience required

🎁 What You'll Take Home

  • A working AI agent they built and can explain — not just a certificate
  • A visual persona and interface designed for their agent
  • A 3-minute pitch delivered live, with judged feedback
  • A digital certificate for every participant and hackathon top 3 winner
  • A welcome gift for every camper, courtesy of Jeffrey Tiong, CEO of PatSnap
  • Custom winner and mentor gifts, specially designed for EDUTech Future's Kids AI Camps in Singapore by Nova Stella Healthcare
